Ten puppet-makers have spent three months creating twenty puppets for this joyful musical of Roald Dahl's The Enormous Crocodile, with the world premiere at Leeds Playhouse between 6th December 2023 and 6th January 2024. The David Oluwale Memorial Association, through Art Happens, is Crowdfunding to raise £15,000 to create a space for Hibiscus Rising to bloom. The £15,000 will enable them to create a beautiful, practical and accessible space for Hibiscus Rising, a space for people to come together and connect, a space for the city to remember the past and imagine a more inclusive future.
