Australia's - Ernest Aines and Camille Trail - Contemporary and Indie Folk Music

Ernest Aines, Australian Folk Artist of the Year 2023 (nominee), is an award-winning singer-songwriter whose music draws comparisons to Ray LaMontagne, Bon Iver, Jeff Buckley, and Nick Drake. His debut album "Spiral Bound" has been hailed for its “exceptional lyricism” and “instrumental genius,” with Rhythms Magazine describing it as “universal, borderless, and timeless.” Ernest has performed on renowned stages, including the Folk Alliance International and The Library of Congress, where his performances left lasting impressions.

Vintage Sounds Live at Sela

We're very excited to announce that VINTAGE SOUNDS will be back at Sela on Thursday 11th July. (Featuring members of Howlin' Ric & the Rocketeers, Louis Louis Louis, King Zepha etc)

The band will be playing a whole host of rock'n'roll, swingers & bangers to get you dancing!

Tickets are PAYF with a £5 suggested donation so get down early for a good seat for the show.

All the money goes to the band and helps to keep our live music program going at Sela. There will be a tip jar on the evening should you wish to buy the band a drink.

At a billion years old, Torridon Sandstone is not a material often used in the production of sculpture. Being in the region of a billion years old it is extremely hard, and being sedimentary it has a habit of shearing off in layers. All of which adds up to a material that is used for many things, but rarely sculpture.
