Join Ste Rex for a family-orientated Hip Hop Jam at Left Bank Leeds!

Come and practice your Breakin' and Graffiti skills in a friendly and encouraging environment. There will be plenty of space for both experienced and beginner dancers, so no need to be shy! The graffiti bench will be stocked with paper and pens, all you need to bring is your imagination.

There will always be someone on hand to help out and they fully encourage their more experienced dancers and Graff writers to share their knowledge.

DogFest Harewood

Dog lovers and anyone who just loves a fantastic day out, it’s time! DogFest is back and bursting with wonderful activities for you to enjoy with the whole family, four-legged included!  

The unmissable, action-packed dog event is taking place on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September 2024 within the beautiful grounds of Harewood House.

Kids Healthy Holidays | Heaven Inflatable Play

Healthy Holidays is back at Left Bank this Summer! Join is for a whole host of fab workshops and activities. For this Healthy Holidays Session we have our incredible Heaven out!

Heaven is our giant inflatable sculpture created by artist Pippa Hale in partnership with local children in response to emerging from the first lock down in the summer of 2020. This is a session dedicated to PLAY and creative fun!

We have plently to keep your little ones busy this summer, with creative art and nature based workshops!

Join the amazing Seasonwell to discover all things that GROW! During this session your child will explore our Left Bank Community Vegetable garden, learning how to grow vegetables, plant seeds and even harvest food we have been growing. The session will also explore how to make food using fresh ingredients from the garden.

Art Club is our specially designed sessions for older children. In each of these sessions the children will explore a new artist medium guided by local Leeds artists. These sessions are perfect for those kids who love getting creative and making their own art work. The sessions will be adaptable to all levels of abilities and above all else will be FUN!

Wonderday 2024

Headingley Enterprise & Arts Centre (HEART) invites you to join in the fun at Wonderday 2024 – the 7th annual celebration of growing up in Headingley! 

The day is organised in collaboration with Child Friendly Headingley, and welcomes young people of Leeds and their families to Heart for a fun filled programme of activities!

The centre will be open 10-4pm with soft play in a mini cardboard construction of Headingley in our TinyBoo play space.

During these sessions your child will join Dora for a afternoon of nature exploration - Dora is a creative educator and Forest School Leader. She combines her love of all things creative and the outdoors to share her skills and experience in sessions which include nature, art, storytelling, poetry, and music.

Public Art Walk

Join us on a walk around the University of Leeds campus to explore our collection of Public Art.

Take some time out of your day to enjoy a breath of fresh air, stretch your legs and take in the sights of the University of Leeds. Learn some interesting facts about the art works around campus – revisit familiar favourites and discover hidden gems.

Works to see may include Barbara Hepworth’s ‘Dual Form’ and Hubert Dalwood’s ‘Untitled Bas-Relief’, along with works by Mitzi Cunliffe, Quentin Bell, Lorna Green and many more.
