Gledhow Valley Green Fair

Gledhow Valley Road will be closed for most of its 1.5 Km length on Sunday 14  July between 11am and 4pm for a Green Fair.

The Green Fair will be a unique opportunity for the local community to come together to enjoy Gledhow Valley Woods without the noise and pollution associated with a busy road.

Henry Moore Institute Reopens

The wait is nearly over, our refurbishment is almost complete and we can’t wait to welcome you back to the Institute from 12 July 2024.

We've been closed since November 2023 for the first significant refurbishment in our thirty-year history. Working with Leeds-based Group Ginger architects, the renovations have focused on creating more welcoming spaces for visitors, with enhanced events, creativity and meeting rooms.

Personal Trainer X Bull All-Dayer

We have asked two of our favourite guitar-pop bands to help curate an all day party in Leeds at the Brudenell Social Club.

In part an excuse to celebrate the release of Personal Trainer's brand new album on Bella Union, and similarly Bull's great 2nd record 'Engines Of Honey' (which landed at the beginning of the year), but also just to celebrate celebrating with friends at the end of our summer.

The Dream Machine

Over the last two years, Merseyside Rockers, The Dream Machine have released a trio of 4-track EPs that have seen them explore three separate lyrical aesthetics while maintaining their appealingly rich sonic style.

Influenced by iconic psych-rock songwriters such as Patti Smith and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, they blend smooth vocal harmonies with tantalisingly hypnotic Americana grooves. These three uniquely cohesive EP’s have earned extensive support from BBC London and Steve Lamacq at 6 Music who made them a spotlight artist.

Panchiko

On July 21st, 2016, a user on 4chan’s /mu/ board posted a photo of a demo CD they’d discovered in an Oxfam charity store in Nottingham, UK: titled D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L, purportedly released in 2000. The listener uploaded the ripped audio to file-sharing sites, and later YouTube, where it began circulating around web forums.
