Launched on International Women’s Day 2024, The Sisterhood is Sarah Jane Morris latest performance celebrating the iconic hits of female artists such as Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Patti Smith, Rickie Lee Jones, Annie Lennox, Kate Bush, Sinead O’Connor and many others.
Seamlessly combining the instrumentation and complex expression of traditional textures with contemporary forms and sounds, Park Jiha has developed a sound that's all her own which includes classical minimalism and improvised music using traditional Korean instruments like the Piri (a double-reed flute), Saenghwang (bamboo mouth organ), and Yanggeum (a hammered dulcimer).
Eeshar Singh is an Indian Classical musician, composer and performer. He is one of the few players of the Santoor, an unusual instrument with an amazingly raw sound and texture, which he likens to his own spiritual practices and connection to the earth.
