Nature: Sensory – celebration and in-conversation event

You are invited to join us for an informal gathering and drinks reception to celebrate the artists and their work in the Nature: Sensory exhibition, including an in-conversation at 6pm.

As part of this celebration event, four of the artists featured in the exhibition will be in conversation with Ella Cronk from Yorkshire Sculpture International.

The in-conversation will start at 6pm and will last for about an hour.

Guests are welcome from 5pm and the exhibition will remain open to 8pm.

This event is free and all are welcome.

A Particularly Nasty Case: A Murderously Funny Evening With Adam Kay

Join BAFTA-winning writer and comedian Adam Kay for an evening of hilarious and horrifying anecdotes, as well as a unique insight into the British healthcare system as he takes the audience behind the blood-splattered blue curtain. New Dawn Fades: A Play About Joy Division and Manchester

New Dawn Fades returns with a re-energised and vibrant new production touring the UK this October. The play tells the story of four ordinary lads who, inspired by the punk revolution of 1970s Manchester, came together to form one of the most influential bands of all time, Joy Division. Following the untimely death of lead singer Ian Curtis, the band went on to huge worldwide success as New Order.

Albert Lee

One of the most respected guitarists in music history, Albert Lee has worked with The Everly Brothers, Eric Clapton and Emmylou Harris over his long and illustrious career.

The British-born artist then moved to the US and assimilated himself into the country music scene, quickly garnering a reputation as one of the fastest guitar players. He recorded a number of solo albums and won a Grammy in 2002 for his contribution to Foggy Mountain Breakdown.

Performing songs from his latest album, Lay It Down, this is your chance to see a real-life music legend in action.
