Arbeau Dancers at Temple Newsam

Most Saturdays between 10.00 and 12.30

Arbeau, our dancers in residence, rehearse in the Picture Gallery on most Saturdays.  With a repertoire spanning 500 years of historic dance, you are invited to watch the rehearsal or even join in!

These are not polished performances but give you a glimpse of what goes in to recreating dances of the past.

If you are visiting especially to see this, please check with us first to ensure the group are in residence. Included in normal admission fees.

Craft Market at Temple Newsam

Join us as we host a selection of seasonal artisan makers markets across the year.  Little Hummingbird Events are working with our beautiful site to offer our visitors, something additional during their trip.

Make a day of it by exploring the estate, discover the history of the house, visit Home Farm and the animals, or just enjoy the parkland and have lunch whilst on site.

Our rural location and closeness to the city make us a great choice for all the family.
