Pumpkin Sowing

Wednesday 9 April

1pm – 3pm

Visit the Walled Gardens and pot 2 Pumpkin seeds, 1 to take and grow at home and 1 for the gardeners to grow on for you to collect or carve at Halloween.

Tomato sowing

Wednesday 28 May

1 – 3pm

Join us at the Walled Gardens and plant your very own tomato plant to take home and watch grow.

Pot a plant

Friday 1 August

1 – 3pm

Celebrate Yorkshire Day by potting up a Coleus plant from our National collection to take home.

Pumpkin Carving

Wednesday 29 October

1pm – 3pm

If you sowed a Pumpkin at Walled Gardens in April, come back and help carve it for Halloween. Alternatively bring one along, preferably hollowed out, and the gardeners will help carve your design.
