Leeds Cathedral Centenary Events and Tours

Leeds Cathedral is celebrating 100 years since its dedication in 1924.  The following events are taking place:

Centenary Concert - Wednesday 3rd July 2024 at 7pm - free entry and all are welcome

Mass of Thanksgiving - Thursday 18th July 2024 at 11.30am - free entry and all are welcome

Guided Tours of the Cathedral - Friday 19th & Saturday 20th July at 10.00am and 1.15pm- each tour lasts approx. 1 hour; no booking required; free of charge, but donations are welcome!

La Guinguette - Headingley's French Festival

Come and have a feel of French Culture with La Petite Ecole de Leeds...

Our 2024 Festival will celebrate the French Caribbean Islands.

The event is family friendly and includes activities for both adults and children.

French food and wines will be available on-site (you can pre-order your food at a reduced rate online until the 1st July).

Pat Fulgoni Blues Experience at the Domino Club, Leeds

Acclaimed singer Pat Fulgoni fronts this top notch 5 piece blues band already with European blues festival dates under their belts and equally at home in UK clubs, venues and festivals.

Pat Fulgoni Blues Experience features talented musicians from the Leeds scene including Jacob Beckwith on guitar, Rory Wells on bass, Sam Bolt on keys and Zebedee Sylvester on drums.

Secondary Singers - Live at The Wardrobe

‘Live at The Wardrobe’ will feature pupils from a number of Leeds Secondary Schools, giving them the exciting opportunity to perform at a prestigious venue in the city. Ranging in styles from rock to soul, there will be a varied programme with lots for everyone to enjoy!

Leeds Music Education Partnership (LMEP) is the music education hub for Leeds, drawing together schools with partners from many organisations involved with music education.

Morning Aerial Hoop w/Jess

Join Jess, to learn beautiful shapes, sequences, rolls and drops on the aerial hoop.

Aerial hoop is an amazing way to build strength and flexibility in the body, while also challenging stamina and coordination. This class is perfect for those with some aerial hoop experience, but complete beginners are very welcome.

Jess will offer variations and modifications throughout to support all in the class. Come and fly with us!

Aerial Silks w/Jess

Join Jess, to learn climbs, inverts, locks and stunning shapes on the aerial silks.

Aerial Silks are one of the most beautiful forms of aerial arts, and although challenging at times, the strength and confidence gained is like no other.

This class is perfect for complete beginners or those with some aerial silks experience. All shapes will be accessible from the ground with the option to take it to the air when you feel ready. We will focus on skills such as single & double foot locks, hip locks, catchers and more.
