Tom Robinson Band

Tom Robinson enjoyed brief notoriety in late 70s Britain - a time of punk rock, political unrest and economic gloom - as a bandleader and activist.

The Tom Robinson Band (TRB) became known for the hit single 2-4-6-8 Motorway, their vocal support of Rock Against Racism and for the anthem Sing If You're Glad To Be Gay, which reached the Top Twenty despite a ban by BBC Radio 1.

Other hits included Don't Take No For An Answer, Up Against The Wall and Too Good To Be True while TRB's debut album Power In The Darkness went gold in the UK & Japan.

JJ Grey & Mofro

Since his first album, Blackwater, back in 2001, Grey has been releasing deeply moving, masterfully written, funkified rock and front porch Southern soul music.

Just Radiohead

“I headed up to ‘Reds’ to catch ‘Just Radiohead’, another tribute act to entertain the masses ahead of the main stage kicking off later in the afternoon. They were IMMENSE, every track they played from ‘Pablo Honey’ through to the later releases was note perfect, ‘Just’, ‘Fake Plastic Trees’ and ‘Creep’ had me looking up to make sure that they hadn’t been replaced by Thom and his gang. The room sang along and slowly got back in the mood …” Musomuso.com – Shiiine On Weekender Nov 2023
