Exploring the histories of Women's Aid and Leeds Animation Workshop, as told through their own archives, Animated Activism: Women Empowered is an exhibition that will leave you inspired - and angry.

Join us in our monthly life drawing class with Gallery favourite, experienced artist and tutor, Rob Oldfield.

This workshop is open to everyone, from newcomers who want to take up a hobby through to experienced artists looking to hone their sketching skills.

Materials including various papers, pencils, charcoal and drawing boards will be supplied, but please feel free to bring your own too.

Join the Leeds illustrator meet-up, Brew, to bust the winter creative block.

January and February are slow, hibernation months, and it can be hard to feel inspired. So for our meet-up this month, we’ll be doing some fun exercises to beat the creative block. Come along for a relaxed evening of activities and a chance to chat with other illustrators. Who knows, you might leave with ideas for a new creative project!

A Potato Day is an event where you can buy a wide variety of seed potatoes, all sourced from specialist suppliers. Potatoes are sold individually, so you’re not restricted to growing a lot of one type as you would be if you were buying from a shop or seed company.

We'll have 16 varieties of potatoes for sale, including 1st and 2nd earlies, mains, salad potatoes, unusual and blight resistant varieties.

Tainted Love’s 80s Party Takes Over Project House!

After running sold-out nights in North Leeds since 2017, Tainted Love brings its authentic 80s clubbing experience to Project House, featuring DJ Dan Lomax, from Town & Country Club’s legendary 80s night Top Banana, spinning cult classics and non-stop retro fun. As part of Queer History Club we are thrilled to welcome Elizabeth Lovatt to talk about her book, Thank You for Calling the Lesbian Line.

Thank You for Calling the Lesbian Line is a brilliantly original exploration of queer history based on call logs from a 90s lesbian phone helpline. With warmth and humour, Elizabeth Lovatt reimagines the women who both called and volunteered for the Lesbian Line in the 1990s, whilst also tracing her own journey from accidentally coming out to disastrous dates to finding her chosen family.
