At the age of 16, Lauren won the BBC Young Musician Competition performing with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra to widespread critical acclaim. Highlights since then include her debut at the BBC Proms and appearances as soloist with the London Mozart Players, European Union Chamber Orchestra, China National Symphony Orchestra and Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra in Warsaw.

For as long as they can remember, the Solé family has spent every summer picking the peaches in their orchard in Alcarràs, a small village in Catalonia. But this year’s crop may well be their last, as they face eviction. The new plans for the land, which include cutting down the peach trees and installing solar panels, cause a rift in this large, tight-knit family. Fifty years ago, Ella Fitzgerald, the First Lady of Song, and virtuoso guitarist Joe Pass recorded ‘Take Love Easy’ – beginning a series of legendary duet albums.
Pete Ivatts is a singer/songwriter and actor based in Yorkshire. He began singing and playing guitar in a skiffle group in the mid 1950s, and started song writing when he was at Drama School in the early 1960s when he also started playing in folk venues.
Pete’s current songs are a poetic mix of English Folk and Country and have the capacity to have you roaring with laughter one minute, and wiping away a tear the next.
