With practitioner Steve Hart. Drawing on decades of pain conditions and practising meditation, Steve will lead mindfulness practises and discuss possible skilful responses to somatic and feeling based pain.

This session hosted by Steve Hart, uses soothing self talk in meditation to be kind to ourselves and trust our intrinsic soundness. No prior experience of this type of event is necessary.

During the workshop you will be using tools to draw into ink and remove areas of light to build up a picture. Niamh prefers to use a photo of places she’s been, or some sketches that she’s taken on location. So choosing a place or taking some photos on a walk could fuel your inspiration. You’ll then take a print of the drawing by pressing down some paper over it, which you’ll be able to take home with you!

In this workshop we will be discussing all things film camera! This is the perfect workshop if you want to get into using film cameras or have recently got one and are unsure how to get started.
We’ll talk about how manual film cameras work and cover some of the basics of using a camera so that you can MAKE pictures instead of taking them.

We’ll have a well behaved pooch for you to sketch, all materials will be provided on the night.
