During the workshop you will be using tools to draw into ink and remove areas of light to build up a picture. Niamh prefers to use a photo of places she’s been, or some sketches that she’s taken on location. So choosing a place or taking some photos on a walk could fuel your inspiration. You’ll then take a print of the drawing by pressing down some paper over it, which you’ll be able to take home with you!

Niamh is an illustrator and printmaker specialising in screen print and monotype. She’s forever inspired by nature, often taking a sketchbook with her on walks to capture new ideas for her prints. She was studying in Cornwall for the past few years which has fuelled her passion for capturing dramatic landscapes in her printmaking; which is the aim of this workshop!
