This Summer School is perfect for children who love making and creating! Each day we will be doing a different mix of creative, engaging, and playful arts and crafts - including textile collage, ceramic sculpting, drawing, creative writing, and more! There will also be some movement and dance activities!

Join nationally acclaimed poet Matt Abbott for a relaxed and engaging creative writing session. Whether you have a story to tell, or you just want to explore your creative potential, Matt will provide the building blocks for vivid and effective poetry and creative writing. All abilities and levels of experience welcome.

Join us for a panel talk discussing the experiences of being a freelance artist with artists Amelia Frances Wood, Rosie Vohra and Anne-Marie Atkinson, chaired by Arts Director of Sunnybank Mills, Anna Turzynski. The life of an artist is one that is often shrouded in mystery and seems financially unattainable. We’re bringing together artists and creatives with different experiences and levels of freelance work in the arts, to open up a dialogue around the realities, challenges and positives of working as an artist.

Join us for a taster synthesiser, sequencer and drum machine workshop where you can learn about how to link up different pieces of music equipment to create a synchronised music performance with others. 

This workshop is open to people of all music abilities who have an interest in music technology and performance production .

The UK's definitive live tribute to the Kerrang! era are ready to bring their must see live experience to Leeds! From pop-punk bangers to heavy singalong classics, alternative emo anthems and nu-metal moshpit monsters.
