Built in 1886, this Leeds red-brick end terrace house retains a surprising number of original features. Visitors will get a glimpse of how this wedge-shaped house was originally decorated, and how it has survived subsequent attempts at modernisation.

Join us on a tour and talk outside the property, which even includes the outside toilet! There will also be a brief tour of the 'front room' and a talk in the living room with slides and artefacts.

Our exhibition celebrates the long and fascinating history of Swarthmore as a Centre for Lifelong Leaning, you can also book a place on our cyanotype workshop to create your very own blue plaque.
