Explore three floors of this magnificent country house, admire beautiful paintings, furniture and silver.  Free audio guides takes you on a special tours around the house.  Then stroll down to the largest rare breeds centre in the world at Home Farm.  Here you can see rare sheep pigs, cattle and poultry.  Examine historic agricultural equipment such as horse-drawn carts, wagons and threshing machines.  Wander around 1500 acres of parkland, woodland, farmland and gardens.

Home Farm is a large working farm and is the largest Rare Breeds Centre in Europe. 

Home to more than 400 animals including rare and traditional sheep, pigs, poultry and cattle.  There is a Georgian dovecote containing nesting holes for 2000 pairs of pigeons, a working estate joiner's shop and sawmills.

In the restored workshops you can take part in traditional craft demonstrations such as butter and cheese-making, blacksmithing and much more.  There are even "hands-on" opportunities with some of the animals.

In the Stable Courtyard there is a tearoom and a shop.
