Join Printmaker and Textile Artist Kirstie Williams to learn all about natural plant based colour and how to make your own pastes for screen printing onto paper.

Monday 2nd & Tuesday 3rd November, 10:30am – 3:00pm on both days.

On this 2 day course you will learn how to use colour from plants, vegetables and natural dye extracts to make pastes suitable for screen printing. You’ll also use modifiers to change the colours which can be achieved.
The first day will be spent creating the pastes themselves and creating a sample page of the different colours. The second day will allow time for screen printing using the pastes, with the focus on blank screens and paper stencils.
You’ll come away with a series of unique screen prints onto A3 paper using the handmade pastes.
