Join textile artist Hayley Mills-Styles for this four-week textile art course. You will learn how to use reclaimed textiles and upcycled embellishments to create a unique textile journal, perfect for storing your memories and photographs. Hayley will guide you through techniques like hand and machine embroidery, applique and creating embellishments from upcycled household materials.

All materials and equipment will be provided and this course is suitable for people who attended the Textile Art Techniques course and people with sewing experience who would like to learn something new.

Hayley Mills-Styles is a Yorkshire based textile artist specialising in embroidery. Using fabric and thread, she creates textile drawings and objects that tell stories. These stories often have an autobiographical theme. Hayley teaches a range of textile workshops sharing traditional skills with a contemporary twist.
