Sofia and Xander first became aware of this question when exploring the songs of Tobias Hume, written specifically for this combination, which led to lots of experimentation with songs of the same period, resulting powerful combination of Sofia’s expressive voice, supported by rich layers of Xander’s viol playing with special ‘lyra-way’ makes this duo’s interpretation of the repertoire more unique and inviting.
