Self-practice can feel daunting at first, but it holds so many incredible benefits. You learn to move more mindfully, connect deeper to your physical body and its needs, self-regulate in challenging circumstances and begin to sharpen the focus of the mind, so you can truly understand yourself and your thoughts and habits.
Jess will begin with a short discussion around the lineage of Ashtanga self practice and how the Mysore session will unfold. Then those who have an established self practice can begin to move through their sequence while Jess will teach the sequence individually to those who are new to this method. Everyone will receive tailored and individualised support.
Expect to move, breathe and meditate while Jess supports you all individually. Self-practice is the way Ashtanga was intended to be practised, come and feel the benefits yourself.
