This in-person Barnardo's event will give you the chance to learn more about fostering and adoption, meet the Barnardo's team, as well as hear from LGBT+ foster carers and adopters.

During this event there will be several opportunities to hear directly from our incredible foster carer and adopter community about their own journeys, as well as time to ask them any questions you may have.

By coming to the event you are not making a commitment, you are simply saying 'I want to learn more'. We hope to keep the event as informal as possible, and a safe space for those who identify within the LGBT+ community and are interested in fostering or adoption. We also hope the event will myth bust around LGBT+ fostering and adoption and help give you facts on how you can start your journey.
