Pride Place is the first LGBTQ+ community and cultural space in Leeds City Centre, brought to you by Pride of Place Leeds.

The centre is the perfect place for any LGBTQ+ groups in Leeds and West Yorkshire to hold your meetings and events.

We are located right in the heart of the city’s Freedom Quarter a short distance from the train and bus stations. The space is wheelchair accessible (see below for full access details).

Wheelchair access
If you are travelling by car, there is limited paid parking directly outside, which can be paid for using the RingGo app. The nearest public car parks are Trinity Leeds car park and Q-Park Sovereign Square, both on Swinegate, near the turning for Blayds Yard.

Sadly, none of the spaces outside Pride Place are wheelchair spaces. The Trinity Leeds car park has 8 designated wheelchair spaces and has assistance staff available. Please contact them directly through their website.

Access info
There are four doors from the street to the event space: (1) the exterior door, (2) the entrance to Pride Place, (3) the kitchen entrance and (4) the kitchen exit.

There is one step to enter the first door. We have a ramp to allow wheelchair access, but please make sure your event’s host knows where it is and how to operate it.

The accessible toilet is located in the event space, just next to the kitchen exit. The other toilet is located in the entrance hall.
