In Collaboration with WOVEN - Join a creative community project inspired by the famous Red Dress.

Attend a free creative workshop at your local library and become part of The Calico Dress, a collaborative textile artwork celebrating the stories of people across West Yorkshire.

Participants will create a small fabric patch using embroidery and decorative techniques, helping to build a unique dress made from hundreds of individual contributions. Each patch will speak of an individual’s cultural identity, heritage or creativity

Whether you're new to stitching or already enjoy textiles, these relaxed and friendly sessions are a great opportunity to learn new skills, be creative, and contribute to a community artwork with a lasting legacy.
