The Los Angeles League of Musicians, LA LOM, are an instrumental trio formed in Los Angeles in 2021. They blend the sounds of Cumbia Sonidera, 60’s soul ballads, and classic romantic boleros that emanate from radios, backyard parties and dance clubs of Los Angeles with the twang of Peruvian Chicha and Bakersfield Country. Since forming, they've released 7 single, 1 EP and their debut album in 2024 on Verve Records, "The Los Angeles League of Musicians".

It debuted at number five on Billboard's Tropical Albums chart, making it the third album to debut in the top five in 2024. It also reached number 18 on the Emerging Artists chart and number 44 on the Top Current Album Sales chart. The album was generally well-received by critics. Mary Siroky of Consequence called the album "excellent" and a "stellar listen". Additionally, Eric Schuman of WXPN labelled it "confident and instantly likeable". They drop into Brudenell for their first ever Leeds show as part of their European 2026 spring tour.

Warming up the room before the band will be Leeds selectors El Caspete DJs (Diego Bocanegra and Eyan Green), two of the city's deepest Latin vinyl crate diggers. They play records across the city at vinyl sessions at Bar 8, Eat Your Greens, Holding Patterns, and have also featured as guests at Smokestack and Brudenell. They'll be spinning an ALL VINYL selection of great cumbia and chicha music from Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Argentina...LPs and 45s.
