Jacob Talbot is a Leeds based artist who employs many different techniques and materials in the production of his artwork. Based in Leeds with a studio at Assembly House in Armley, he graduated from Leeds Arts University in photography. His practice has since expanded to include sculptural installations such as 'The Labyrinth', a commissioned piece he created for the Kirkstall Abbey's Mindfulness festival in 2025.
For his exhibition at BasementArtsProject Jacob will be providing you with the ‘space to breathe’, an incitement for you to slow down, maybe even stop completely, and allow yourself the luxury of a rare moment for introspection in a busy hectic world. Take the time to connect to your deeper self and allow yourself 'A Space To Breathe'.
As always there will be Lunchtime Conversation on the final day of the exhibition
Sunday 22nd November | 12-2pm (Ticketed - strictly 10 tickets only)
The Lunchtime Conversation is not an artist talk, but it is a home-cooked meal and chance for informal chatter around the kitchen table with the current artist. This is followed by a tour around their show in The Basement with the chance to ask questions. There are strictly 10 tickets only for this events.
