Workshop

Learn the basics of screenprinting, with step-by-step guidance throughout the process.

The workshop will begin with a quick demonstration, then you’ll learn how to draw and cut out your stencil ready to screenprint. You will end up with multiple (roughly 3-5) copies of your original print to frame in your house and/or gift to loved ones.

This workshop is suitable for beginners. Feel free to come with some ideas of what you’d like to print, and check out Jenny’s Instagram @niceisntit to see more examples from previous workshops.

All materials are provided however we recommend bringing an apron or clothing you don’t mind getting a little messy.

This activity is easiest standing up, and can require standing up for extended periods time however can be adapted if necessary to stay seated. The process requires moderate arm strength but assistance can/will be provided to anyone who would find this difficult.

If you have any access, mobility or other health issues which you think could impact your experience of the workshop, do to let us know in advance and we will aim to make reasonable adjustments where possible, to ensure you have a positive experience.

We request reasonable notice of at least 2 working days to be able to action any adjustments.

Any information disclosed to Swarthmore will be relayed to the workshop facilitator.
