Plan Your Plot: Collaborative Planning Workshop with KVF
Ready to turn your gardening ideas into a practical plan? Join Emma Bowen from Kirkstall Valley Farm for this small-group, hands-on workshop and create a personalised month-by-month plan for your 2027 fruit and vegetable garden.
Working together in a supportive group, you'll consider your available space, time, budget and the fruit and vegetables you most enjoy eating to create a realistic growing plan that works for you. Along the way, you'll learn practical techniques for planning your garden, improving soil health and making the most of your growing space.
We'll also carry out some simple DIY soil testing, so please bring a small tub or jar of soil from your garden. To get the most from the session, bring a sketch map of your growing space, including measurements and notes about sunny, shady, wet or dry areas.
Ideal for beginners and experienced growers alike, you'll leave with a tailored garden plan and the confidence to make 2027 your most successful growing season yet.
This event is part of the #MoreThanAPool project, celebrating the history, heritage and community stories of Bramley Baths and the wider West Leeds area, while encouraging people to share knowledge, connect with nature, and continue West Leeds' proud tradition of growing together.
