Leeds is delighted to be celebrating International Day of Disabled People for the sixth year in Leeds. The theme this year is ‘Advocating for Accessibility’.
The free and inclusive event will feature a marketplace with over 20 stalls showcasing local disability support organisations. It promises to be a great day with: performances, guest speakers, an opportunity to discuss transport, an art zone, quiet sensory room and BSL interpreters.

Guest speakers: The Lord Mayor of Leeds, Abigail Marshall Katung, Councillor Kevin Ritchie, Disability Champion at Leeds City Council, Rob Moriarty, businessman, entrepreneur and Self Advocate, Anne Marie Davies, Volunteer and Advocate.
24 Stalls of local organisations.
Performances coordinated by People in Action: 7 Singers, Dance, Rap, and Performance Poetry.
Let's Talk Transport: opportunity for discussion hosted by Travel Connections, Leeds Older People's Forum.
Art Zone coordinated by Pyramid of Arts.
Quiet Sensory Room hosted by Leeds Autism Services.
BSL interpreters

IDODP Leeds is organised by Leeds For All: Leeds City Council Equality Hub and Volition, Forum Central.
