A large rectangular textile or printed fabric lies flat on the gallery floor, depicting an aerial view of a coastline with vivid turquoise and deep blue water, scattered white clouds, and a narrow strip of green land along one edge. The fabric is bordered with a bright fluorescent yellow trim and photographed from a low angle, emphasizing its length within the white-walled gallery space.

Join Yorkshire Contemporary with artist, composer and multi-instrumentalist Hannah Catherine Jones for a tour of her current exhibition UNEARTHING(S) at Leeds Art Gallery.

Transforming Central Court into a chapel-like space, UNEARTHING(S) brings together light, photography, sculpture and sound to reflect on themes on identity, bereavement and regeneration. Aimed at artists practicing in West Yorkshire, the tour will start in Central Court and include time for q&a with Hannah and the exhibition’s curators.
