One of the most renowned photographers of the 20th century, Peter Mitchell is perhaps most well-known for his documentary photography of Leeds across the 1970s and 80s while working as a delivery truck driver.
In celebration of Mitchell’s exhibition at Leeds Art Gallery, Nothing Lasts Forever, this special evening talk will see the artist himself reflecting on his long-rooted connection with the city of Leeds. Mitchell will share stories from his remarkable photography career and how his most iconic works came to be. This event will be interpreted in BSL.
The event will be followed by a poster and book signing by the artist (merchandise to be purchased separately from our on-site shop or Shop Peter Mitchell online).
