Our Relaxation Day Retreat is all about slowing down, being nurtured, and giving yourself permission to fully relax.
Set within our beautiful 18th-century home in Headingley, just minutes from Leeds City Centre, this half-day retreat combines all the goodness of a weekend retreat into one deeply restorative experience designed to support your wellbeing, calm the nervous system, and help you reconnect with yourself.
The day begins with a warming Hatha Yoga class, using mindful movement, breathwork, and gentle alignment to help release tension, quiet the mind, and prepare the body for relaxation.
You’ll then move into a restorative and therapeutic space where our team of therapists will offer 15-minute massages to each guest. Alongside this, you’ll have the opportunity to explore restorative yoga practices, enjoy tea, and simply slow down in a calm and supportive environment.
A nourishing and delicious lunch will be shared together, with all dietary requirements catered for, before the afternoon softens into a deeply restful Yoga Nidra session.
Yoga Nidra, often known as yogic sleep, is a guided meditation practice that encourages profound relaxation and restoration. Practised lying down in our warm and cosy studio, it helps reduce stress, improve sleep, calm the nervous system, and support emotional and physical wellbeing.
We finish the retreat with tea and cake, allowing you to gently ease back into the day feeling grounded, nourished, and restored.
Please bring a pillow and blanket to help you feel as comfortable and cosy as possible during the relaxation practices.
