Come On In

As part of Scalarama Leeds 2024, Come On In presents a film screening of COYOTE UGLY. Join us downstairs at Sela Bar to watch the trashy 00s classic, treat yourself to our themed cocktails and pizzas, come bedazzle an item of clothing and dance on the bar*! Just don't ask for water**, you may get wet...

Before the film screening, we will be running a bedazzling station! Join us to emblaze an item of your clothing or accessory with rhinestones and gems. If you're not sure what to bring, we will have some material available for you to use for neckerchiefs.

*the celing isn't high enough to actually dance on the bar, but you can dance on the benches

** water will be readily available to help yourself to, if you want to be sprayed, ask for it at the bar

COYOTE UGLY follows 21 year old Violet as she moves to the big city with a dream of becoming a singer. When she gets a job at the notorious Coyote Ugly Saloon to get by, she's thrust into a world of drinking, dancing on bartops and some incredibly sexist attitudes. Will she get over her stage fright and achieve her dreams? A Y2K classic starring Piper Perabo, John Goodman, Tyra Banks, Johnny Knoxville, Melanie Lynsey and more...
