Bust-A-Move Festival is a community hip hop dance festival in Leeds that brings together children, young people and adults of all ages, abilities and dance styles to dance and connect. The festival features performances, a DJ, creative activities and 2vs2 dance battles across three categories: 0–12 Breaking, 12–18 Breaking, and Adults, where each team consists of one breaker and one dancer from another style, paired at random on the day. Bust-A-Move creates an inclusive and supportive environment where participants can build confidence, develop their skills, celebrate hip hop culture and connect with their local community.
