Bloomin' in the Garden is a new theatre project from The Performance Ensemble that transforms familiar outdoor spaces into places for performance, creativity and connection. It creates joyful, accessible performances for people to enjoy in the open air.

Free public performances Saturday 3 October at 11.00 am ans 2.00 pm at Roundhay Park are for everyone to enjoy. More information below - but no tickets are required - just turn up!

The Performance Ensemble is also bringing the show into care home gardens across Leeds. Each show is designed to be accessible, with performances able to move indoors if the weather has other ideas.

Bloomin' in the Garden is funded by Leeds City Council and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority through the Seasons of Culture 2026: Nature programme, a wider celebration inviting people across Leeds and West Yorkshire to connect with nature, the outdoors and creativity in our green and blue spaces.

Through this funding, The Performance Ensemble is taking high-quality live performance to public audiences, and directly to older people in the places where they live - creating opportunities to experience theatre, nature and creativity together.
