Think About Ink: Leeds Print Festival 2015
When you look at the range of events for this year's Leeds Print Festival its hard to believe it's only in its fourth year. Rather than resting on its laurels the festival has evolved its programme with each iteration, making space for a growing audience that's eager to get its mitts on print in all its forms; from traditional to contemporary printmaking.
This year's programme sees LPF extend its home on the ground floor of Munro House and move into the new Colours May Vary workshop space to run inky printing workshops with The Print Project. Munro Gallery is home to LPF's focal exhibition of regional and international designers featuring screenprint, letterpress, risography, etching and linocut (see images below). The exhibition launches on the 24th alongside a Print Fair of designers, bookbinders and publishers including The Designers Republic, Papercut Bindery and Hello Memo.
Punctuating the final weekend of the festival Leeds College of Music hosts six talks with a panel of printmakers from publications including Creative Review, The Counter Press and Intern Mag.

And then its time for the closing party with work from Lee Goater and Amy Rodchester. But if you want to know about the parties then you have to sign up to the LPF mailing list here!
Leeds Print Festival is an independent not-for-profit festival created by Amber Smith and Dutch Holland.
The festival runs from 23.01.15 - 31.01.15 at Munro Gallery, Colours May Vary and Leeds College of Music. Say hello to them on twitter at @LPFHQ
