Space2 would like to invite artists to share their unique perspective and passion for the local environment through artistic celebration of waterways, green spaces and human connections. We would like to increase general understanding of the local natural habitat by connecting waterways to migration and environmental exploitation, and by reflecting Leeds’ diverse communities' local stories/cultures as central to conversations about nature, climate, and collective action.Do you live in Leeds and make art? Would you like to share your creations with others?

Space2 is looking for contributions to our upcoming exhibition responding to the theme of ‘Streams'.

Open to all visual artists in Leeds and Space2 participants. You don’t have to be a professional artist – if you make art, we’d love to see it and exhibit it. You are welcome to submit up to 3 pieces. Our exhibition space can only accept the art that can be hung, so please make sure that your submissions are 2D. You just need to submit up to 3 JPG images to jelenaz@space2.org.uk and our creative team at Space2 will review all the submitted work and make decisions on the final exhibition. Deadline for the submissions is 23rd October 2026.

We know that there are many people across Leeds who are brilliant creatives, and we want them to have a space to showcase their work locally.
