Occupational Hazard - Take Part in our Show!

ACCA Dance Theatre are Leeds based dance theatre making work that reflects and comments on the contemporary society via funny, thought-provoking dance theatre performances and participation activities. Their style has a physical backbone, drawing on character and conceptuality to investigate the topics which inspire each project.

Now they have a question for anyone aged 18+, female identifying, who loves dance and theatre and wants to perform in front of an audience...

No experience necessary!

The show will take place on the evening of Saturday 28th September 2024 at The Warehouse, Holbeck and ACCA would absolutely love to have you involved. Over Saturdays/Sundays in September you will work together to create a prologue (or curtain raiser) that will open the show!

About Occupational Hazard.

Meet Becky and Linda, ACCAirways’ creme de la creme. Fusing choreography, comedy and clowning, Occupational Hazard, though at times tongue in cheek to entertain a plane full of passengers, is inspired by the #metoo effervescence of recent years.

You’re in safe hands when you fly with Becky and Linda, so sit back, relax, and let them lull you into a false sense of security. Boarding passes at the ready, this flight is about to take off!

Rehearsal Dates:

Saturday 31st August 10am - 1pm

Saturday 7th September 10am - 1pm

Saturday 14th September 10am - 1pm

Sunday 22nd September 1pm - 4pm

Performance: Saturday 28th September 2024, 5pm - 9pm (exact times tbc)
