Community base for neighbourhood Network Scheme called Hawksworth Older Peoples Support (HOPS) offering a variety of services and activities for older people in Hawksworth Wood including Abbeydales and Vespers. HOPS provides opportunities for older people to meet and enjoy a range of activities including exercise, dancing, friendship groups, day trips, group holidays, lunch clubs and intergenerational work. We also provide a range of support including letter-writing, acting as advocate, dealing with statutory bodies and utilities, support in decision-making and making lifestyle choices.
