Afrikindness Dissemination Event
Join Afrikindness for a powerful Dissemination Event bringing together researchers, young people, parents, educators, civic leaders, and policy makers to share key findings, lived experiences, and practical recommendations for change.
The event will spotlight the voices of young people in Leeds who have played a central role as Research Ambassadors, alongside parents and community stakeholders. The research project is on Race, Racism and Education in collaboration with York St John University and Liverpool Hope University.
This important gathering will also feature the official launch of Afrikindness’ new Cultural Toolkit — a practical resource designed to support inclusive practice in schools and strengthen understanding of diverse communities.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network, engage with evidence-based insights, and explore how research can translate into meaningful action that benefits children, families, and communities across Leeds and beyond.
