A unique fundraising event supporting Al-Harah Theatre in Bethlehem - Palestine, through the powerful medium of dance, singing and music
Al-Harah theatre was established in 2005 to create safe spaces for children, women and people with disabilities in the West Bank as well as supporting artists in Gaza. They urgently need support to continue their transformative work for the community, helping children cope with the psychological traumas of the war.
Our event will feature a series of performances that symbolize various emotions we all experience as we witness the horrors unfolding in Palestine: anger, sadness, a sense of solidarity and hope! These emotions will be portrayed by community artists through dance, singing, poetry and music! The programme will also feature grounding practices and will be BSL interpreted.
The goal is not only to raise funds but also to engage the audience, fostering a deeper connection to the Palestinian struggle, a sense of community, healing and hope.
