Hayley is an artist and tutor based in Scarborough with a passion for embroidery. She has been stitching since childhood and loves to pass on these traditional skills with a contemporary twist. Hayley has a degree in Textile Crafts from the University of Huddersfield and a Masters in Textiles from Manchester School of Art.
In this hand embroidery class Hayley will guide you through the process of designing and embroidering a mini festive winter wreath that you can embellish with beads and sequins. You will learn a range of hand embroidery stitches like feather stitch, stem stitch and French knots.
All materials and equipment including an embroidery hoop are provided for the class, and it's suitable for beginners and people who want to brush up on their hand embroidery skills.
