Helen France MBE, from Nevis, was part of the Caribbean Windrush Generation that helped rebuild post-war Britain and made significant contributions to the art scene.

Featuring printmaking, linocuts, mixed media, and more, expect vibrant Caribbean colours that will inspire you. Visitors to the exhibition can look forward to lively and colourful work celebrating Caribbean and Yorkshire living.

In addition to stunning artworks, the exhibition will feature stunning collages that allow visitors to immerse themselves in the stories and experiences of the Windrush Generation, making it a truly engaging and memorable experience.

The Windrush Stories exhibition will explore the rich history and culture of the Windrush Generation and Caribbean heritage, with a nod to Yorkshire, through the eyes of a Windrush artist.
