Troubled is a 60-minute one woman show about love, death and division told with tea and biscuits. Memories of violence clash against a huge-hearted Northern Irish story, revealing the impact of a childhood shaped by conflict. A lone woman stands under the moonlight, far away from home. Big Red and Little Red, the voices in her head, are fighting. Again. With song, movement and a host of characters, ‘Troubled’ addresses the challenges of growing up in Belfast during the Troubles and uses humour, and self-awareness to create an evening where the audience can laugh, cry and have a bloody good night out!
