Guitarist Tom McEwen has made a name for himself as a fearless improviser and composer who’s music digs deep into the rich history of both jazz and folk traditions. His debut album, “The Three Forests”, was released this September and is a beautifully raw snapshot of the young guitarist’s unique sound.

Joined by drummer Herbie Underwood and double bassist Joe Wilkes, the groups evocative musical storytelling, delicate interplay and fiery improvisation have made them a must see group.

They’re currently taking their music on the road playing selective dates around the country and we’re thrilled to have them in Leeds at Rush Hour Jazz
