Spend a creative day exploring the possibilities of textile screen printing. Whether you’re completely new to screen printing or looking to develop your existing skills, this practical workshop will introduce you to the process and give you plenty of opportunity to experiment.

You’ll learn how to prepare imagery for screen printing, as well as how to coat and expose screens using the photo emulsion method. You’ll also discover how to mix textile pigment inks and explore the endless possibilities of colour.
Throughout the day, you’ll develop your own surface pattern prints, experimenting with layering, colour, shape and pattern to create interesting and individual textile designs. The emphasis is on exploring ideas, learning through experimentation and having fun with the process.
