Readings by a different local published poet each month. This month we're pleased to welcome IAN HARKER.
Ian Harker is an award-winning poet and editor. His latest collection ‘Gain Access’ (published by the Poetry Business) co-won the International Book and Pamphlet Competition 2025.

He is an Honorary Fellow of Leeds Trinity University, and was shortlisted for the inaugural Tempest Prize.
His other publications include ‘A-Z of Superstitions (Yaffle Press 2023), ‘Rules of Survival’ (Templar Poetry 2017) and ‘A cloud of Witnesses’ (2026).

He has had poems included in numerous publications and been shortlisted in many other competitions, such as the prestigious Bridport Prize.
