Jazz Club is proud to host a special performance by the Sharkeygroup for Leeds Jazz Festival 2026.

A spontaneous exploration into sound and rhythm, led by veteran musician Chris Sharkey (trioVD, Roller Trio, Acoustic Ladyland), it features a revolving cast of Leeds’s finest young creatives.

Together they gather round a campfire of shared musical ideas, warming themselves, and us, with music that is structured, exciting and accessible, intense yet measured.

Think Jeff Parker and the ETA IVtet and you’ll be getting somewhere in the same ballpark, but have no doubt that Sharkeygroup are truly unique

Just for Leeds Jazz Festival they will be featuring brand new material alongside their usual open-form approach, so this is definitely not one to be missed.
