Preparing imagery for screen printing.
Coating and exposing screens.
Mixing inks.
Screen printing methods.
Heat setting/fixing inks to make them washable.
You’ll come away from the session with some finished products with your own design screen printed onto them and a whole lot of knowledge to continue with your own projects.
This is ideal for complete beginners in printmaking or those who wish to gain an understanding of how to use the screen printing facilities at Leeds Print Workshop.

Leeds Print Workshop currently offers half price concession tickets for those on certain income-based state benefits, which are subsidised by funding from Leeds City Council. To be eligible you must be in receipt of state benefits and be able to provide evidence. See our price concession webpage for further information.
Access
Our aim is to bring printmaking to as many people as possible. By their nature, some printmaking processes involve an amount of physical effort. Leeds Print Workshop is based in a basement studio at Patrick Studios, a bespoke venue for artists operated by East Street Arts. It is wheelchair accessible, with a lift, larger than standard doors and accessible toilet facilities. We recognise that everybody’s accessibility needs may differ, therefore please email us at hello@leedsprintworkshop.org to discuss any concerns you may have before booking. There is one blue badge car parking space to the side of the building on Rider Street, subject to availability.
