Run of The Mill History

A cabaret night celebrating primary school life in the 90s and 00s.

Step back in time to a simpler time when Freddos cost 10p, we cha-cha slid everywhere and were traumatised by road safety adverts.

This event will be staged like a primary school assembly, teachers and hymns included, with star cast of performers chosen specifically for this event. Be on your best behaviour for the teachers, you might even get a sticker! Our bun sale will be raising funds for Children and War UK who provide therapy for children who’ve survived war zones and natural disasters.  There will be opportunity to disco dance after the performances to a playlist of 90s and 00s hits with Pop Jr levels of nostalgia.

Join us as we endeavour to find out: Who put the colours in the rainbow? Who let the dogs out? And what happens if you hit me at 30 miles per hour?

Costumes encouraged.

Run of the Mill History is a socially engaged history project by Jude Kershaw, there will be opportunities for you to share memories of your time at primary school. These will be used in the night and preserved for a future generation of historians and school children.
